		Clan and Family Tartans		Unsure if your surname has any historic ties with Scotland? Why not do a search on the Tartan Index below?
		Universal Tartans		These are designs which are generally accepted as being worn or used by anyone who finds the particular design appealing. Included in this group of tartans are the Black Watch, Caledonia, Earl of St Andrews and Royal Stewart tartans.
		Irish Tartans		Every Irish county has it's own tartan plus the very popular Irish National tartan.
